What the Flyt Samspill API is for

Flyt Samspill is a low-threshold tool for starting collaborative processes. In Flyt Samspill terminology we call this starting a "plan".

Municipalities may want to facilitate allowing large user groups (e.g. all employees in private and public kindergartens, or all Health station workers) to create plans, without having to pre-register all these employees in the solution. In other words, create an "on-demand" service for users who have not used Flyt Samspill before.

The Flyt Samspill external API is designed to give users of third-party systems controlled, secure, and low-threshold access to the tool.

The possibilities with the API

The API allows authorized systems to:

Retreive municipality’s metadata

  • Retrieve a list of all plan types in a municipality (in the desired language, EN NB or NN)
  • Retrieve a list of all roles available for plan participants (in the desired language, EN NB or NN)
  • Retrieve a list of all posible plan affiliations (in the desired language, EN NB or NN)

Send a form to Flyt Samspill API endpoint to create a new plan

The form requires the following data:

  • Chosen plan type
  • Chosen plan participants (optional) with name, personal number or D-number, role
  • Chosen plan affiliation (optional)
  • The municipality context (organisation number to identify the client context)
  • Main person information (Name, personal number or D-number)
  • Plan lead (Name, personal number or D-number)

When Flyt Samspill receives the data to create a new plan...

  • It checks the data is complete and sends confirmation of OK
  • A new plan is created
  • New accounts are created (if necessary) for the main person, plan lead, and plan participants). Existing accounts are updated if necessary.
  • New rights are given (if necessary) for the plan lead. They from this point onwards have the ability to create new plans in Flyt Samspill.
